Responsible alcohol service is an issue that touches you, your business, your customers and your community
The TIPS program is designed to teach bartenders, sellers and consumers of alcohol to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking. TIPS is a practical, common sense approach to serving alcohol responsibly in any setting. TIPS training helps prevent people who are drinking from hurting themselves, injuring others or damaging property.
The On Premise program is a five-hour session designed for servers at restaurants, bars, hotels or any establishment where alcohol is consumed on the premises. Employees learn strategies for serving alcohol responsibly, while providing the best possible customer service.
At the
end of each program, the trainer administers a multiple-choice exam which is
sent to Health Communications, Inc. for grading and record-keeping. Students who
pass the exam receive a certification card, denoting the program they were
trained in, which is valid for three years.
